Opacity: Wager 7500B-RR Railroad Opacity Meter
Wager's locomotive opacity meter is custom designed for railroad application and is used for detecting and measuring opacity in diesel emissions. Our standard system (7500B-RR) comes complete with a unique mounting frame, heavy duty optics to withstand high temperatures, heat resistant cables, and software programs designed specifically for this industry. The software has log files for maintaining vehicle information, and a data collection file that can be easily saved and retrieved after testing.
- Sampling rate of 100 samples per second.
- Light source is collimated to a diameter of 1.125 inches.
The Data Collection Unit (DCU) is the heart of the Model 7500RR system. This small, portable, lead acid battery powered unit collects information from up to three sensors
